TNHB Launches New Housing Scheme 2025: Apartments and Plots through Online Lottery & First Come First Serve Basis

The Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) has announced the launch of its new housing scheme offering ready-to-occupy apartments and residential plots across major cities in Tamil Nadu. The scheme welcomes applications from the general public for the outright purchase of flats or plots through online lottery and first come first serve (FCFS) modes.

Under this category, TNHB is offering well-developed and ready-to-occupy apartments in Chennai and Trichy, catering to both middle-income and high-income groups.

1. Koyambedu, Chennai

The Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) is inviting the general public to purchase apartments and residential plots under “Outright” purchase through two modes: Online Lottery and First-Come-First-Serve (FCFS).
User registration is now open—interested applicants must create credentials at tnhb.tn.gov.in before applying.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

  1. Be a native of Tamil Nadu,

  2. Have completed 21 years of age, and

  3. Not have bought any plot, house, or flat from TNHB earlier, either in their own name or in the name of spouse or minor children.
