CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) has announced the outright sale of 1,101 residential plots and 113 flats across key cities and towns in the state, including Chennai, Erode, Trichy, Salem, Dharmapuri and Vellore . The allotment will be done through an online First Come First Serve (FCFS) system, as per Notification No. 01/2026 dated January 29, 2026 .
The housing board said the scheme is open to applicants from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) to High Income Groups (HIG) , with bookings to be accepted only through the official TNHB portals.
Under the first phase, TNHB will offer 1,101 residential plots across multiple locations in western and central Tamil Nadu. Online booking will begin at 10 am on February 9 and close on March 31, 2026.
