TNHB Opens Online Lottery & FCFS Sale for Affordable Homes and Plots (Registration Open)

The Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) is inviting the general public to purchase apartments and residential plots under “Outright” purchase through two modes: Online Lottery and First-Come-First-Serve (FCFS).
User registration is now open—interested applicants must create credentials at tnhb.tn.gov.in before applying.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must:

  1. Be a native of Tamil Nadu,

  2. Have completed 21 years of age, and

  3. Not have bought any plot, house, or flat from TNHB earlier, either in their own name or in the name of spouse or minor children.

Step-by-Step Online Application

To apply for your preferred scheme and type, follow these steps through the online portal:

  1. Visit the TNHB Website: Go to https://tnhb.tn.gov.in and click on the “Apply Now” section.

  2. Select Scheme: Choose your preferred scheme (Lottery or FCFS) and project type, then click “Apply Now”.

  3. Login/Register:

    • Existing users: log in with your username and password.

    • New users: register first, then log in with your credentials.

  4. Fill Application: Provide all required details and upload necessary documents.

  5. Review & Confirm: Verify your details before proceeding.

  6. Payment: Pay the booking amount securely through the designated payment gateway using your registered account.

  7. Submit Application: Finalize submission through the online portal.
