Gomtinagar Extension plots up for auction

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has finalised plot prices and approved the layout for the proposed commercial and group housing development under the Gomtinagar Extension Scheme. Prime-location plots will be offered through an upcoming e-auction, officials said.

According to LDA, the auction will include commercial complexes at 1090 Chauraha, hospital land and multiple group housing plots. The e-auction portal will open on December 15, and interested participants can register through the LDA website.

LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar said that in Sector-7 of Gomtinagar Extension, around 43 acres of land behind the Police Headquarters has been earmarked for 11 group housing plots and one commercial plot. The layout was recently approved by the LDA board, reserving 15% of the land as green area.

Officials said group housing plots range from 5,295 sqm to 11,934 sqm, with a reserve price of ₹80,633 per sqm. A 7,180 sqm commercial plot in the same sector has been priced at ₹82,864 per sqm.

In Gomtinagar Vibhuti Khand (Extension), near 1090 Chauraha, five commercial plots and one hospital plot will also be auctioned. The commercial plots, ranging from 51 sqm to 11,175 sqm, carry reserve prices between ₹1.18 lakh and ₹1.28 lakh per sqm, while the 1,615 sqm hospital plot has a reserve price of ₹97,413 per sqm.

Kumar added that two group housing plots on Butler Palace Road, Dalibagh, measuring 2,026 sqm and 2,097 sqm, will also be part of the auction. Their reserve price has been fixed at ₹88,334 per sqm.


The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has announced an e-auction for prime commercial and group housing plots in Gomti Nagar and other key locations. The auction is scheduled for 17 January 2026 at 11:00 AM, and interested bidders must register online at https://registration.ldalucknow.in/.

EMD Deposit: The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), equivalent to 10% of the reserved price, must be submitted between 15th December 2025 and 14th January 2026.

Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to conduct an e-auction of prime commercial properties across key locations in the city, including Gomti Nagar Extension and the 1090 intersection. The proposed developments include a commercial complex, a hospital, and group housing projects, offering excellent road connectivity along with ample green spaces.

LDA Vice Chairman Prathamesh Kumar informed that 11 group housing plots and one commercial plot have been planned over 43.051 acres of land located behind the Police Headquarters in Sector-7, Gomti Nagar Extension. The layout plan for this scheme was approved during the recent LDA Board meeting, with 15 percent of the total land area reserved for green spaces.

All these plots will be offered for sale through the e-auction process this year. The group housing plots, ranging in size from 5,295 sq m to 11,934 sq m, have been assigned a reserve price of ₹80,633 per sq m. Meanwhile, the commercial plot measuring 7,180 sq m has a reserve rate of ₹82,864 per sq m.

In addition, LDA will also auction five commercial plots and one hospital plot near the 1090 intersection in Vipin Khand (Extension), Gomti Nagar. The commercial plots, with sizes ranging from 51 sq m to 11,175 sq m, carry reserve prices between ₹1,18,855 and ₹1,28,230 per sq m. The hospital plot measuring 1,615 sq m has been priced at ₹97,413 per sq m.

Officials said the pricing reflects the strong demand for residential apartments and commercial developments in prime areas such as Dalibagh and Gomti Nagar. The Vice Chairman emphasized that all plots earmarked for group housing, commercial, and hospital use are located in highly sought-after zones of the city.
