Bhadohi: A total of 56 unclaimed and abandoned vehicles parked for a long period at two police stations in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh may go under public auction if their rightful owners fail to claim them within the stipulated period.
The vehicles are currently parked at Gopiganj and Gyanpur police stations . Bhadohi Additional Superintendent of Police Shubham Agarwal has said that vehicle owners or rightful claimants have been given 15 days to approach the concerned police station and produce valid documents to establish ownership.
If the vehicles are not reclaimed within the specified period, the police will proceed with their public auction as per the applicable rules .
According to the police information, the total 56 vehicles are divided between two police stations:
