Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) is set to auction 16 plots across Ahmedabad through an e-auction, with the combined base value estimated at more than ₹1,415 crore . The auction includes commercial plots in Thaltej and Chandkheda , along with plots in Bopal and Chandlodia and a large township development parcel in Kathwada.
The AUDA property auction is expected to generate substantial revenue for the development authority, which plans to use the proceeds for infrastructure and development works within its jurisdiction.

The largest parcel on offer is the Kathwada township plot , while the highest base rate has been fixed for a commercial plot in Thaltej.
Among the six commercial plots in Thaltej , one plot measuring 7,780 sq m carries the highest base rate of ₹2.80 lakh per sq m .
Based on the notified rate, the plot has an estimated base value of around ₹202 crore . AUDA officials expect competitive bidding to potentially push the final transaction value to around ₹300 crore .
Another Thaltej commercial plot, spread over 5,788 sq m , has a base value of approximately ₹150.50 crore .
The remaining four Thaltej plots have estimated base values ranging from ₹72.26 crore to ₹121 crore .
AUDA is also offering seven commercial plots in Chandkheda .
The base rates for these plots range between ₹1.19 lakh and ₹1.90 lakh per sq m . Their estimated base values range from approximately ₹18 crore to ₹64 crore .
The Chandkheda properties therefore form another significant component of the AUDA e-auction .
The auction also includes one plot each in Bopal and Chandlodia .
The Bopal plot measures 4,104 sq m and has a base rate of ₹1.12 lakh per sq m , giving it an estimated base value of around ₹46 crore .
The Chandlodia plot measures 1,197 sq m and has a base rate of ₹1.91 lakh per sq m . Its estimated base value is approximately ₹22.86 crore .
The largest plot in the AUDA auction is located in Kathwada and is earmarked for township development .
The parcel measures 73,428 sq m , making it significantly larger than the commercial plots being auctioned in other parts of Ahmedabad.
With a base rate of ₹65,000 per sq m , the Kathwada plot has an estimated base value of around ₹477 crore .
The revenue generated through the AUDA plot auction is expected to support development activities across the authority's jurisdiction.
According to the details available in the tender notice, AUDA intends to use the funds to strengthen its finances and support stalled development projects that have been affected by funding constraints.
Infrastructure works, including roads and bridges , are expected to receive a significant share of the auction proceeds.
