The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced a discount of 15% on flats within the Narela sub-town and is extending previous housing schemes for flats in Dwarka.
Consistent with a professional statement by way of the DDA, another round of e-auction for the last residences in Dwarka can be released soon under the Diwali Special Housing Scheme 2023. Moreover, a 15% discount will be available to most of the people for residences located in Narela.
In an assembly chaired by Lieutenant Governor V k Saxena, the DDA decided to behavior another round of e-auction for the remaining residences in Sector 19B and Sector 14, Dwarka, while MIG residences at Loknayakpuram can be presented via a first-come-first-serve mode.
The announcement further mentions that the left-out flats from the Diwali unique Housing Scheme 2023 in Dwarka can be protected in the upcoming e-public sale. Throughout the scheme's initial run from November 30, 2023, to December 29, 2023, out of 2,093 flats to be had, 744 had been booked.
Furthermore, a 15% discount for the general public and a 25% discount for employees of central, state, and autonomous bodies will be offered on more than 440 flats in Sector A1-A4, Narela, under the ongoing first come first serve (FCFS) scheme.
Discounts of up to 15% will also be provided on 246 LIG flats in Ramgarh Colony compared to the prices offered in the previous Special Housing Scheme 2021.
In addition to these announcements, the DDA has permitted non-governmental legal entities to purchase built-up properties in bulk for use as residential staff quarters and hostels. Private entities with registered offices or campuses in Delhi-NCR can now avail this opportunity, as per the statement released after the meeting chaired by the LG.
Several decisions regarding land use were also taken during the meeting, including the approval to change the land use from 'recreational' to 'transportation' for constructing a five-lane toll plaza at Ghazipur to ease traffic congestion at Delhi border points.
