Bhilwara: The Urban Improvement Trust (UIT), Bhilwara , has announced a major e-auction of 156 residential and commercial plots across several prime housing schemes in the city. The online bidding process began on April 28, 2026 , and will continue till May 11, 2026, at 4 PM .

The auction includes plots in some of Bhilwara’s most sought-after schemes, including Nehru Vihar, Ramesh Chandra Vyas Colony, Bapu Nagar, Patel Nagar Extension, Tilak Nagar, Vijay Singh Pathik Nagar, Azad Nagar, Panchwati and Kewada New .

According to the official notification issued by the UIT Bhilwara office, bidders can participate through the online e-auction portal after depositing the required earnest money deposit (EMD).

Maximum Plots Offered in Nehru Vihar

Among all schemes, Nehru Vihar (MIG category) has the highest number of auction properties with 37 plots , followed by Ramesh Chandra Vyas Residential Scheme with 28 plots and Kewada New Scheme with 15 plots .

The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has released the schedule for its upcoming e-auction of residential, small commercial, and large commercial properties . The auction will be conducted online from 24 November to 26 November 2025 , offering buyers an opportunity to purchase premium RHB properties across multiple cities.

Jalandhar Development Authority Announces E-Auction:

The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has once again started the e-auction process for its unsold housing units in Priyadarshini Nagar, Bhilwara, offering buyers a chance to purchase homes at half the original cost .

According to officials, a total of 75 surplus Middle Income Group-A houses located in the Priyadarshini Nagar colony are available under this scheme. The discount is being offered on an “as-is-where-is” basis , and buyers can participate through the board’s official e-auction platform.

How the Auction Works

  • The online bidding process will run every Monday from 10 AM to Wednesday 3 PM .

  • Interested applicants must register on the official website rhb.rajasthan.gov.in by providing personal details, bank information, and uploading a valid photo ID.

  • A registration fee of ₹354 is mandatory.

  • To place a bid, applicants need to submit 5% of the house cost as security deposit .

  • The highest bidder will be declared every Wednesday at 4 PM, while unsuccessful bidders will get their deposit refunded within a week.

Payment Options

Successful buyers will receive allotment letters within a week of the auction. The Housing Board has allowed both cash payment and rental-purchase methods . Families can also purchase more than one house if opting for the cash mode.

Additional charges, including a 3% administrative fee, corner charges, and payment for extra land , will be applicable as per the allotment letter.

Background

Despite multiple attempts, the Housing Board has struggled to sell units in Priyadarshini Nagar. Out of 121 houses listed this year, only 40 have been sold so far , even with a 50% discount. Many units, especially in the high-income category, remain vacant or in poor condition.

In addition to Bhilwara, the Housing Board has also uploaded details of 79 houses in Suwana Scheme and four MIG houses in Patel Nagar Extension for sale, though these are being offered without any discount .
