Dausa/Jaipur: The Urban Improvement Trust (UIT), Dausa-Bandikui, has witnessed overwhelming public participation in the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Urban Residential Scheme, with 6,270 applications received for 999 residential plots. The scheme, located at Khedli village near Dausa district headquarters, is emerging as one of Rajasthan's most sought-after government-backed housing projects.

The allotment of plots will be conducted through a fully transparent e-lottery system under the supervision of district authorities and UIT officials.
The authority is currently completing the final preparations for the computerized draw process. Applicants are advised to keep checking official announcements for the lottery schedule and result publication.

About the Housing Scheme

The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Urban Residential Scheme is being developed over approximately 46.62 hectares of land at Khedli in Dausa district.

The township has been planned as a modern residential colony featuring:

  • Residential plots across multiple income groups
  • Commercial zones
  • Green belts and parks
  • Sports stadium and recreational facilities
  • Internal roads and civic infrastructure
  • Public utility spaces

The project is registered under RERA Registration No. RAJ/P/2026/4645.

Following strong public demand, UIT revised the category-wise allocation and increased the number of plots to 999 units.

The final application data released by UIT highlights strong demand across all categories.

The highest demand was recorded in the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, which alone accounted for nearly half of all applications received.

Interestingly, the MIG-A category recorded 423 applications for only 7 available plots, making it the most competitive segment in the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants were required to fulfill the following conditions:

  • Must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
  • Minimum age should be 18 years.
  • Family income considered as per FY 2024-25 records.
  • Only one application permitted per family.
  • Multiple applications from the same family are liable for rejection.

Reservation Benefits Available

The scheme provides reservations under various categories as per Rajasthan government norms, including:

  • SC – 16%
  • ST – 12%
  • OBC – 21%
  • Persons with Disabilities – 5%
  • Ex-Servicemen – 10%
  • Widows of Martyrs – 5%
  • Other eligible categories as per government rules

Refund and Allotment Process

Applicants who are not selected in the e-lottery will receive refunds of their security deposits through the online system. No interest will be payable on refunded amounts.

Successful applicants will later be required to submit:

  • Rajasthan domicile certificate
  • Aadhaar Card or other valid ID proof
  • Income certificate
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Affidavit and undertaking in prescribed format
