Oct 16 2025

159 Jaipur Families Get Diwali Gift of New Homes

Just ahead of Diwali, joy filled 159 families in Jaipur as they received allotment letters for their new homes under the Rajasthan Housing Board’s Samriddhi Apartment Scheme. The letters were handed over by Urban Development and Housing (UDH) Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra during the Urban Service Camp 2025.

According to officials, each flat under the Samriddhi Yojana was initially estimated at ₹35 lakh, but the board reduced the price to ₹31 lakh, making the homes more affordable for the beneficiaries.

Minister Kharra highlighted that the Samriddhi Apartment Scheme, launched nearly two years ago, is now showing strong results. Beneficiaries were selected through a transparent lottery process, ensuring fairness in the allotment.

He added that the Housing Board will continue to bring more affordable housing projects for people from different income groups, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing quality urban housing in Rajasthan.
