Important Notice

Regarding online registration of plots under the schemes for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low-Income Group (LIG).

Plots located at Pallavpuram Phase–2 Pocket M, Sainik Vihar Pocket B & C, Pandav Nagar, Pocket D & E (EWS category) and plots located at Pallavpuram Phase–2 Pocket M, Sainik Vihar Pocket B & C, Pandav Nagar, Pocket D & E, Ganganagar Pocket L, O, X, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Nagar Pocket C, L, M, and Shastri Nagar Sector 4B/B, 4C/A, 4C/B, 4C/C & 4C/E (LIG category) were advertised in newspapers inviting interested applicants to submit online registration forms between 02-10-2024 to 02-11-2024.

The last date for submission of these online applications has now been extended up to 16-11-2024.

Uttar Pradesh Housing & Development Board – E-Auction of Non-Residential Properties (Meerut Zone)

The Uttar Pradesh Avas Vikas Parishad (UPAVP) has announced the e-auction of non-residential properties in the Meerut Zone. The auction will be conducted through the official e-auction portal. Citizens, institutions, and interested bidders can participate in this transparent process to acquire commercial plots, shops, institutional land, group housing, and other categories of properties.

A total of 121 plots are being offered in the Meerut Zone, covering Saharanpur and Ghaziabad. These include a diverse range of properties such as Commercial Plots, Shops, Group Housing, Community Centre Plots, Filling Station Plots, Health Centre Plots, Nursing Home Plots, Hotel Plots, and Institutional Plots.

The Meerut Development Authority (MDA) will conduct e-Auctions for different categories of residential, commercial, and other types of plots under its housing schemes.

The e-Auction programme will be available from 29th September 2025 to 18th October 2025 on the Authority’s official website www.mdameerut.in under the e-Auction link.

Meerut Housing Council to Hold E-Auction of Properties Worth ₹280 Crore on September 30

Meerut, September 23, 2025 – The Housing and Development Council (HDC) has announced an e-auction of residential and non-residential properties valued at ₹280 crore across multiple projects in Meerut. The online auction is scheduled for September 30, with registrations open until September 29.

Deputy Housing Commissioner Anil Kumar Singh confirmed that the auction will feature a total of 31 properties spanning various housing schemes.

  • Jagriti Vihar Extension Scheme No. 11: 6 residential plots, 7 group housing units, 1 health center, and 1 commercial property.

  • Madhavpuram Scheme No. 10: 1 group housing unit and 1 commercial property.

  • Shastri Nagar Scheme No. 3: 10 shops and 2 commercial units.

  • Jagriti Vihar Scheme No. 6 & Transport Nagar Scheme No. 1: 1 commercial property each.

Property Manager Sunil Kumar Sharma stated that the 6 residential properties are valued at ₹7 crore, while the 25 non-residential properties are valued at ₹273 crore.

The e-auction will take place on September 30, and in the event of a single bid for any property, it will be re-auctioned on October 27. Interested buyers must complete registration before the deadline to participate.

Meerut Development Authority Announces Affordable Housing Options

The Meerut Development Authority (MDA) has recently announced updates regarding the availability of flats across different categories, ranging from Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low-Income Group (LIG) to Middle-Income Group (MIG) and High-Income Group (HIG). Prices start as low as ₹5.96 lakh and go up to ₹30 lakh, making it a diverse opportunity for homebuyers across income levels.

EWS Category (Income less than ₹3 lakh per year)

  • Locations: Lohia Nagar and Ganganagar

  • Availability: 16 flats in Lohia Nagar and 7 flats in Ganganagar

  • Price Range: ₹5.96 lakh – ₹8.65 lakh

  • Eligibility: Families with annual income below ₹3 lakh

  • Allotment Basis: First Come, First Serve (no lottery system).
    Applicants will need to provide a salary certificate.

LIG Category (Income between ₹3–6 lakh per year)

  • Locations: Lohia Nagar and Shradha Puri (Phase I)

  • Price Range: ₹8 lakh – ₹15 lakh

  • Eligibility: Families with annual income up to ₹6 lakh

  • Allotment Basis: First Come, First Serve.

MIG & HIG Categories (Income above ₹6 lakh per year)

  • Locations: Shatabdi Nagar (near Airport), Raksha Greens, Sainik Vihar — all considered premium areas in Meerut.

  • Price Range: ₹19 lakh – ₹30 lakh

  • Registration Fee: 10% of the flat cost.

    • For EWS flats: starts at approx. ₹59,670

    • For HIG flats: up to ₹3 lakh

  • Construction Quality: Government projects sometimes differ in quality compared to private builders. Inspect the flats physically before making a decision.

Registration Process:

  1. Visit the Official Website:
