The general provisions cover entities such as:
Where a particular category is reserved, applicants must provide the required certificate issued by the competent authority.
The authority may verify eligibility and documents at any stage of the selection or allotment process.
Applicants need to submit their applications through the online portal prescribed by the Indore Development Authority .

The detailed document list is to be checked in the respective application form.
The registration amount submitted with the application is adjusted according to the applicable allotment and payment provisions.
Under the common rules, a successful applicant is required to deposit 25% of the total premium within 30 days of the reservation letter , after adjustment of the registration/deposit amount, unless a separate payment schedule applies to the property.
The authority's rules also provide for an instalment facility where applicable under the prevailing regulations. The number of instalments, interest rate and payment schedule are governed by the applicable rules and the payment schedule issued by the authority.
Applicants should therefore check the reservation and allotment letters carefully before making subsequent payments.
The common rules also specify consequences for withdrawal of an application.
If an applicant withdraws before the application deadline, 10% of the deposited registration/deposit amount may be deducted , with the balance refunded as per the applicable procedure.
If withdrawal takes place after the application deadline but before the lottery or selection process, 20% may be deducted from the deposited amount.
After the lottery/selection process or allotment, withdrawal or refusal to accept the allotment can result in forfeiture of the entire registration/deposit amount , subject to the applicable rules.
The IDA notices advise interested applicants to inspect the concerned property before submitting an application, during office hours or at a date and time specified by the authority.
After submitting an application, the applicant is treated as having examined the property, its condition, location, scheme-specific conditions and application invitation notice . The notice states that failure to inspect the property or failure to use the inspection opportunity will not ordinarily support a later claim.
Applicants should also remember that merely submitting an application, having an application accepted or being included in the selection process does not itself create ownership or possession rights . Such rights arise only after due allotment and compliance with the applicable conditions.
