Haryana Housing Board to Hold E-Auction of Flats and Residential Properties in 26 Cities in 2026

Chandigarh:
In a major boost for homebuyers, the Haryana Housing Board (HHB) has announced the e-auction of flats and residential properties across 26 cities of Haryana in 2026. The initiative aims to help middle-class and aspiring homeowners fulfill their dream of owning a house in the state.

The Housing Board has released a detailed online e-auction schedule, enabling interested buyers to plan and participate well in advance.

E-Auction Schedule: February to April 2026

As per the schedule issued by the Chief Administrator of the Haryana Housing Board, e-auctions will be conducted twice each month in February, March, and April 2026.

Earlier, in August 2025, the board conducted an e-auction of around 950 residential properties in 21 cities, but several flats remained unsold. Taking lessons from that experience, HHB has now prepared a more structured and phased auction plan.

Cities Covered Under E-Auction

Phase 1 Cities

Ambala, Yamunanagar, Alipur, Palwal, Faridabad, Gurugram, Sohna, Rewari, and Ghasheda

Auction Dates:

  • February 18, 2026

  • March 9, 2026

  • April 1, 2026

Phase 2 Cities

Fatehabad, Rohtak, Hisar, Jhajjar, Ratia, Sirsa, Tohana, Gharaunda, Kaithal, Karnal, Narwana, and Panipat

Auction Dates:

  • February 25, 2026

  • March 17, 2026

  • April 15, 2026

EMD Payment Deadline

Interested bidders must deposit the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) by 5:00 PM on the day before the auction date to be eligible to participate.

Sale Before Merger with HSVP

The Haryana government has already decided to merge the Haryana Housing Board with the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP). Ahead of this merger, the board is accelerating the sale of its remaining residential properties.

Complete property details have been forwarded to estate offices across all districts, ensuring smooth coordination and transparency in the auction process.
