Chandigarh: The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) is set to conduct large-scale e-auctions of over 2,000 properties in Haryana in 2026, offering a major opportunity for homebuyers and investors. The authority has released the first auction schedule of the year, with two rounds of e-auctions each in February, March and April.
Last year, nearly 4,000 properties were offered through HSVP e-auctions. This year, unsold inventory from previous rounds will also be re-auctioned. A significant portion of the properties includes vacant flats under BPL (Below Poverty Line) and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) categories, lying unused for years in several HSVP sectors.
As per the schedule issued through the Chief Administrator, HSVP, e-auctions will be conducted in the following cities and sectors:
Ambala, Yamunanagar, Alipur, Palwal, Faridabad, Gurugram, Sohna, Rewari and Dharuhera.
The e-auction dates for these cities are: February 18, March 9 and April 1, 2026.
In the next phase, e-auctions will be held in:
Fatehabad, Rohtak, Hisar, Jhajjar, Ratia, Sirsa, Tohana, Gharaunda, Kaithal, Karnal, Narwana and Panipat.
The scheduled dates for these locations are: February 25, March 17 and April 15, 2026.
Interested bidders must deposit the EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) by 5 pm on the day before the e-auction. Detailed property lists, reserve prices and terms will be released soon on the official HSVP portal and through respective estate offices in concerned districts.
Many BPL and EWS flats in HSVP sectors have remained vacant for a long time. With the merger of Haryana Housing Board into HSVP, the government has decided to initiate the sale of these flats through transparent online auctions. Estate offices have been directed to share complete details, enabling buyers to verify location-wise inventory before bidding.
The HSVP e-auction 2026 is expected to draw strong interest due to:
Availability of affordable flats in Haryana
Transparent online bidding process
Prime locations near developed HSVP sectors
Opportunity for end-users and real estate investors
Homebuyers looking for HSVP flats for sale in Gurugram, Faridabad, Panipat, Karnal, Hisar and Rohtak can track the upcoming auctions and prepare documents in advance.
HSVP Reschedules E-Auction of Residential, Commercial and Institutional Sites to February 4
Chandigarh/Panchkula, January 29, 2026:
The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has postponed its proposed e-auction of residential and commercial properties across all zones due to a technical glitch in the online bidding system. The auction, originally scheduled for January 28, 2026, at 10 am, has now been rescheduled to February 4, 2026, at 10 am, officials said on Wednesday.
According to a public notice issued by HSVP, the auction covers Residential Plots (P/GP/SP category), Commercial Properties, Nursing Home sites, Clinic sites and School sites in all zones of Haryana.
The authority clarified that bidders who had already deposited their Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) by January 27, 2026, will remain eligible to participate in the rescheduled e-auction on February 4. In addition, fresh EMDs will be accepted up to February 3, 2026, till 5 pm, allowing new bidders to participate.
HSVP officials said the auction had to be deferred due to a technical malfunction on the portal and that necessary corrective measures have been taken to ensure smooth conduct of the bidding process on the revised date.
The notice was issued on January 29, 2026, by the Chief Administrator, HSVP, Panchkula, through the Directorate of Public Relations (DPR), Haryana.
According to an HSVP spokesperson, the e-auction will be held zone-wise over four days. The auction for residential and commercial (preferential) sites — including nursing homes, clinic sites and school plots across all zones — has been scheduled for January 28.
