VMRDA to Auction Vacant Plots in Ozonevalley & Fortune Hills Layouts at Dakamarri

VMRDA Auction News:
VMRDA has invited online bids for MIG residential plots in Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram districts, with the e-auction scheduled on December 17, 2025, through the Konugolu portal. Plots are available in Palavalasa, Raghumanda and Jiyyannavalasa layouts, with upset prices ranging from ₹6,500 to ₹14,500 per sq yd. Bidders must submit EMD and documents by December 15. The highest bidder (H1) will be allotted the plot, with payments to be made in four stages within 90 days. Stamp duty, registration and development charges are to be borne by the buyer. The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) has announced the sale of vacant residential plots in its Ozonevalley Layout (Paradesipalem Phase-I) and Fortune Hills Layout (Dakamarri) through an e-auction. The auction will be conducted via the Government of Andhra Pradesh’s Konugolu e-auction portal (https://konugolu.ap.gov.in).

Auction Schedule

  • Availability of Documents: August 7, 2025 (10:00 AM) to August 22, 2025 (5:00 PM)

  • Last Date for Bid & EMD Submission: August 22, 2025 (5:00 PM)

  • Date of e-Auction: August 26, 2025 (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM) or until extended period

  • Cost of Documents: Free of cost

Registration & Fees

  • Registration Fee: ₹1,180 (including GST) payable to APTS via Konugolu portal

  • Processing Fee: ₹5,000 (including GST) per application, payable to Metropolitan Commissioner, VMRDA

  • EMD: As per individual plot details in Annexure-I, to be paid online via the portal

Available Plots

The auction includes 20 residential plots with varying sizes and upset prices:

  • Ozonevalley Layout, Paradesipalem Phase-I: Plots ranging from 266.67 to 311.11 sq. yards at an upset price of ₹30,000 per sq. yard.

  • Fortune Hills Layout, Dakamarri: Plots ranging from 289.79 to 350 sq. yards at an upset price of ₹15,500 per sq. yard.

Key Terms

  • Bidders must quote above the upset price; minimum increment is ₹100 per sq. yard.

  • Payment Schedule: 10% within 72 hours of intimation, 30% within 30 days, 30% within 60 days, and remaining 30% within 90 days.

  • All statutory charges, stamp duty, and registration costs are to be borne by the buyer.

  • Plots are sold on an “as is where is” basis for intended use only.

How to Participate

Interested individuals, firms, companies, cooperative societies, or trusts must:

  1. Register on the Konugolu portal with required documents (Aadhaar, PAN, GST declaration, bank details, etc.).

  2. Pay the registration and processing fees.

  3. Submit the EMD for desired plots.

  4. Participate in the online bidding process on the auction date.
