Palwal Police to Auction 660 Condemned Vehicles Online; Bolero, Ertiga, Bikes and Mobile Cranes Included

The office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman, District Condemnation Board, Palwal, Haryana has issued a major online e-auction notice for the disposal of condemned and seized vehicles lying in police department premises. The auction will be conducted through the NIC e-Auction Portal on an “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS” and “AS IS WHAT IT IS BASIS.”

The online auction includes a massive inventory of motorcycles, scooters, cars, Bolero SUVs, Ertiga vehicles, ambulances, buses, Tata 407 trucks, pickup vehicles, auto-rickshaws, mobile cranes and other departmental vehicles.

According to the notification, the e-auction will be hosted on the official NIC portal at https://eauction.gov.in and bidding is scheduled to close on May 29, 2026.

e-Auction Participation Details

Interested bidders must deposit the required e-Service Fee and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) before participating in the online auction.

Important Financial Requirements

• e-Service Fee: Rs 1,180 (Non-refundable)
• EMD: 10% of the reserve price of each lot
• Mode of payment: Demand Draft (DD) only
• Last date for submission: May 25, 2026 till 5 PM

The Demand Draft for the e-Service Fee must be issued in favour of Society for I.T. Initiative Fund for e-Governance, payable at Chandigarh.

The EMD Demand Draft must be drawn in favour of Deputy Commissioner, Palwal, payable at Palwal.

Both DDs are to be submitted at the office of District Nazar, O/o Deputy Commissioner, Palwal, Room No. 220, Second Floor, District Secretariat, Palwal.

The administration stated that all interested bidders must first create a user account on the NIC eAuction portal.

Steps for Registration

• Visit the NIC eAuction website
• Create bidder ID and password
• Link Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)
• Upload photocopies of Demand Drafts
• Wait for verification and approval from the department

Officials clarified that bidders failing to upload scanned copies of the DDs on the portal will not be allowed to participate in the auction.

Important Conditions for Buyers

The administration has issued several strict auction terms and conditions.

Major Auction Rules

• Vehicles will be sold strictly on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”
• Buyers must physically inspect vehicles before bidding
• GST will be charged separately as per government rules
• Registration certificates may not be available for all vehicles
• Some vehicles are intended only for scrap use
• Auctioned scrap vehicles cannot be re-registered for road use

Officials also stated that the successful bidder must deposit the full sale amount within three working days of receiving the acceptance letter.

Vehicles must be lifted within seven days from issuance of the release order.

EMD Refund and Forfeiture Rules

The District Condemnation Board clarified that unsuccessful bidders will receive EMD refunds within 15 days after the auction closes.

However, the EMD can be forfeited if:

• A bidder withdraws during the bidding process
• The successful bidder fails to deposit the balance amount
• GST and other charges are not paid within the stipulated timeline
