Haryana Govt to Auction 61 Condemned Vehicles Online on January 29th

Chandigarh:
The Haryana government will conduct an online auction of 61 condemned government vehicles belonging to various state departments, boards and corporations on January 29, 2026, officials from the Directorate of Supplies & Disposals said.

The e-auction will be held on the National Informatics Centre (NIC) e-auction portal (eauction.gov.in) from 12 noon to 5 pm and will be conducted on an Official Notification” basis.

According to the official notice, the auction includes a wide range of vehicles such as cars, SUVs, utility vehicles, motorcycles and commercial vehicles, previously used by departments including the Chief Secretary’s Office, Haryana Police, Transport Department, Housing Board, Agriculture Department, Health, Education, Fire Services and other government agencies.

Interested bidders must deposit a non-refundable e-service fee of ₹1,180 (₹1,000 plus 18% GST) through an offline demand draft by 5 pm on January 23, 2026. In addition, a refundable participation fee (EMD) is required—₹5,000 per vehicle for four-wheelers and three-wheelers, and ₹2,000 per vehicle for two-wheelers.

Bidders are also required to upload scanned copies of the demand drafts and application on the e-auction portal by January 26, 2026, after which applications will be verified and approved by the department.

Officials said bidding will be open only during the scheduled auction window on January 29, and no payments will be accepted once the auction begins. Successful bidders will be required to deposit the sale value along with applicable GST at 18% within 15 days of issuance of the acceptance letter.

The vehicles will be released from the respective departmental locations after completion of all formalities. Detailed information regarding vehicle specifications, starting bid prices and auction terms is available on eauction.gov.in and dsndharyana.gov.in.

How to Apply for Haryana Government Vehicle Online Auction

Step 1: Get Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)

  • Obtain a valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) (mandatory).

  • Without DSC, bidding on the NIC e-auction portal is not allowed.

Step 2: Register on NIC e-Auction Portal

  1. Visit https://eauction.gov.in

  2. Click on Online Bidder Enrollment

  3. Fill in required details and create User ID & Password

  4. Login and link your DSC to your account

Step 3: Pay e-Service Fee (Offline)

  • Pay ₹1,180 (₹1,000 + 18% GST) (non-refundable)

  • Mode: Demand Draft (Offline only)

  • DD in favour of:
    “SOCIETY FOR IT INITIATIVE FUND FOR E-GOVERNANCE”
    Payable at Chandigarh

  • Submit DD in person at:
    Directorate of Supplies & Disposals, Haryana,
    Bays No. 3-6, 2nd Floor, Sector-2, Panchkula

  • Last date: Before 5:00 PM on 23.01.2026

Step 4: Pay Participation Fee (EMD)

  • ₹5,000 per vehicle – 3-wheelers & 4-wheelers (Refundable)

  • ₹2,000 per vehicle – 2-wheelers (Refundable)

  • Mode: Offline Demand Draft

  • DD in favour of:
    “Director Supplies & Disposals Haryana”
    Payable at Panchkula

  • Submit at the same office by 5:00 PM on 23.01.2026

Step 5: Upload Documents on Portal

  • Upload scanned copies of both Demand Drafts and application form

  • Upload on eauction.gov.in

  • Last date: Before 5:00 PM on 26.01.2026

  • Applications are approved after verification by the department

NOTE : Failure to upload documents before the deadline will disqualify the bidder.

Step 6: Participate in Online Bidding

  • Date: 29.01.2026

  • Time: 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM

  • Login to eauction.gov.in, select vehicles and place bids

  • Auction includes auto-extension as per rules

Step 7: After Winning the Bid

  • Deposit sale value + 18% GST within 15 days

  • Vehicle released from concerned department on “as is where is” basis

  • EMD refunded after completion of payment formalities
