Rohtak:
The Rohtak district administration will conduct an online auction of over 215 unclaimed, seized and condemned vehicles on February 18, 2026, officials said. The auction will be held through the NIC e-Auction portal (https://eauction.gov.in) between 11 am and 3 pm.
The vehicles, currently lying in police malkhanas and premises of various government departments in Rohtak district, will be sold on an “as is where is” and “as is what is” basis. The inventory includes motorcycles, scooters, cars, auto-rickshaws, jeeps, canters, pickups and condemned government vehicles.
Officials said that the auction covers vehicles seized under various provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, IPC, NDPS Act, Arms Act and Excise Act, as well as unclaimed vehicles kept by police stations including Malkhana Sector-1 Rohtak, Sampla, Lakhan Majra, Civil Lines and PGIMS police posts.

Submit two Demand Drafts (DDs) offline:
₹1,180 in favour of Society for IT Initiative Fund for e-Governance, payable at Chandigarh
EMD of ₹6,05,000 in favour of Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak, payable at Rohtak
Upload scanned copies of DDs on the portal
Bidding access will be enabled only after verification
GST at 18% will be charged on the final sale value
Successful bidders must deposit the full sale value and GST within three working days of receiving the acceptance letter
Vehicles must be lifted within 15 days of the release order
Failure to pay or lift vehicles in time will result in forfeiture of EMD
