The Maharashtra Housing and Development Authority (MHADA) offers plots and shops to the residents of Maharashtra through MHADA e-auction platform.

How does the MHADA e-auction work?

The MHADA board lists available shops and plots for sale and publishes e-auction advertisements. These ads provide key property details such as the type of property (land/shops), base price, application fee, earnest money deposit (EMD), bidding amount, and important dates.

How to Participate in the Mhada e-auction?

After registration, log on to the Mhada e-auction portal. On the dashboard you can see details, such as all the auctions, live auctions, closed auctions, my auctions, EMD paid auctions and submitted auctions.

MHADA to Issue Provisional Offer Letters for 173 Units Across Mumbai

Starting from July 10, 2024, the Maharashtra Housing and Development Authority (MHADA) will begin issuing provisional offer letters to successful bidders of the MHADA e-auction for 173 commercial units across Mumbai.

Bidders can obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to secure loans after paying 10% of the bid amount. Once the full payment is made, MHADA will issue allotment letters and hand over possession of the units.

MHADA provides bidders a 10-day window to accept the awarded unit. The e-auction for the 173 non-residential units was announced on March 1, 2024, with results declared on June 28, 2024.

According to an official statement, 604 bidders participated in the auction for 112 units by depositing the required earnest money, while 61 units did not receive any bids. The base price set by MHADA for the 112 units was Rs 97.74 crore, with total bids reaching Rs 171.38 crore. The highest bid was Rs 13.94 crore for a single unit.
