Sheohar Administration to auction 31 vehicles seized under liquor law; bidding starts Jan 16

SHEOHAR:  The district administration of Sheohar has announced a public auction of 31 vehicles confiscated under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The auction is scheduled to take place on  January 16, 19, and 21, 2026 , at the Collectorate Meeting Hall (Samaharnalaya Sabhakaksh).

The Excise Department has invited applications from interested buyers, with the deadline for submission set for  January 14, 2026, by 5:00 PM .

Bikes, Cars, and E-Rickshaws on Offer
The inventory includes a mix of two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and passenger cars seized during anti-liquor drives across various police stations including Sheohar, Piprahi, and Shyamfur Bhataha.
