The Unhel Police Station in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district will conduct a public auction of seized vehicles on June 12, 2026. The auction will begin at 10:00 AM at the police station premises and will include vehicles confiscated under Section 38 of the Police Act.
According to police officials, interested bidders can participate by appearing at the police station on the scheduled date and submitting their bids during the auction process.
Individuals interested in purchasing vehicles can inspect the auctioned vehicles during official working hours, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, before the auction date. The inspection facility has been provided to help bidders assess the condition of the vehicles prior to placing bids.
Officials stated that every participant must deposit 2% of the prescribed amount before being allowed to bid in the auction. This amount must be paid on the spot at the auction venue.
The details were shared by Gangdhar DSP Hemant Gautam, Secretary of the Auction Committee, and Unhel Station House Officer Ramkaran Kataria.
The police administration has made it mandatory for successful bidders to deposit 25% of the total bid amount immediately after the auction concludes.
The remaining balance must be paid within three days at the designated office. In addition, GST will be charged separately as per applicable rules.
Authorities clarified that bidders who successfully purchase vehicles through the auction will be solely responsible for transporting and removing the vehicles from the auction site at their own expense.
Interested participants can review additional auction terms and conditions at the Unhel Police Station office before taking part in the bidding process.
The police administration has appealed to interested individuals and vehicle traders to participate in the public auction and take advantage of the opportunity to purchase seized vehicles through a transparent bidding process.
