Udaipur Development Authority to Auction 120 Residential, Commercial Plots via E-Auction

The Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) has announced an online e-auction of 120 residential, commercial and institutional plots across prime locations in the city. The e-auction process will begin on December 24, 2025, and conclude on January 16, 2026, officials said.

According to the public notice, interested bidders can deposit the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) from December 24, 2025, to January 12, 2026. Online registration for participation in the auction will remain open till 12 noon on January 12, while the EMD can be deposited online up to 4 pm on the same day.

The plots on offer are located in multiple schemes and revenue villages, including Bhuwana, Amberi, Chitrakoot Nagar, Hiran Magri, Transport Nagar, Central Area, Sub City Centre, Meera Nagar, Shyam Nagar, Motikhera and Savina Kheda, among others. These include residential, commercial, resort and professional institute plots, many of them corner plots.

The e-auction will commence at 11 am on December 24 and continue till 3 pm on January 16, 2026. If any bid is placed in the last five minutes, the auction time will be automatically extended by five minutes to ensure fair participation.

Officials said the EMD has been fixed at 2% of the base price, while successful bidders will have to deposit 15% of the bid amount within three days, inclusive of the EMD. As per state government orders dated January 13, 2025, bidders can avail a staggered payment option—35% of the bid amount within 120 days and the remaining 50% within 180 days.

  • UDA has also announced incentives for early payment.
  • Bidders depositing the full auction amount within 15 days of the demand letter will be eligible for a 2% rebate on the bid value.
  • Only online bids will be accepted, and participants must register through the official UDA e-auction portal.
  • Single bids will not be accepted for plots being auctioned for the first time.
  • The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons.
