TTD to Hold Online Auction of Cloth Items from March 2 to 9

Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced an online auction of cloth items offered by devotees at the Tirumala Srivari Temple and its affiliated temples. The e-auction will be conducted from March 2 to March 9, 2026.
 

According to officials, a total of 287 lots will be put up for bidding. The items include art silk sarees, silk sarees, half sarees, and ordinary sarees. The lots comprise new, used, and partially damaged cloth materials collected as offerings.
 

The auction will be conducted through the Andhra Pradesh government’s e-procurement platform under EA ID numbers 25597 to 25602 and 25604 to 25609. Only bidders registered on the official e-procurement portal will be eligible to participate.
 

TTD authorities said interested participants can obtain further details by contacting the General Manager (Auctions) or Assistant Executive Officer (Auctions) at TTD, Hare Krishna Marg, Tirupati.

Bidders can also visit the official portals of the Andhra Pradesh e-Procurement system or TTD for complete information regarding participation, terms, and conditions.

OFFICIAL NOTICE


The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced an e-auction for the sale of new, used, and damaged vasthrams (sacred cloth offerings), under the supervision of the General Manager, Auctions and Marketing Department. The auction—bearing ID 25356 and reference number TTD-34021/13/2025-AUCTION SEC-TTD—will be conducted on November 21, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, in an open forward auction format.

The e-auction will feature 30 lots of new Art Silk Sarees, with each lot comprising 20 sarees. Upset prices range between ₹10,100 and ₹10,900 per lot. The items fall under the procurement category Vasthrams and will be sold on a “Forward with No Ties” auction rule, with no EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) applicable. A nominal 0.5% service charge will apply to successful bids.

Prospective bidders can inspect the materials from November 7 to November 20, 2025, between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM at the designated TTD facility. No documents are required to participate, as per the official notice.

According to TTD’s auction guidelines, each lot will be evaluated individually, and auto-bidding options will not be available. The auction will automatically extend by eight minutes if bids are placed during the final minute of the auction window.
