TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced an e-auction for the sale of new, used and damaged Vasthrams , with 50 lots of new art silk sarees scheduled to go under the hammer on August 5, 2026 .
The online auction will be conducted in two sessions through the KONUGOLU e-auction platform . The first auction, identified by Auction ID 26264 , will be held from 10 am to 1 pm , while the second auction, Auction ID 26265 , will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm on the same day.
The auction is being conducted by the General Manager, Auctions Marketing Department, TTD , under Auction Reference No. TTD-34021/13/2025-AUCTIONS-SEC-TTD . The auction is an open forward auction , with bidding and evaluation conducted separately for each lot.
The two e-auctions together feature 50 lots , with each lot containing 20 pieces of new art silk sarees . The upset prices for the lots range from Rs 9,000 to Rs 10,700 .
The first auction includes 25 lots , with upset prices starting at Rs 9,000 for Lot V8830 and going up to Rs 10,700 for Lot V8786. The second auction also features 25 lots , with upset prices ranging from Rs 10,100 to Rs 10,500.
The EMD is not applicable for participation in the auction. However, successful bidders will be required to comply with the post-bid payment conditions specified in the auction terms and conditions.
The auction carries a service charge of 0.5 , and the minimum bid increment is Rs 1 per UOM .

The inspection of the auction materials will be available from July 23, 2026, at 10:30 AM until August 4, 2026, at 5 PM . Interested bidders can inspect the materials with prior permission from the General Manager (Auctions), Tirupati .

Interested buyers and bidders must register themselves as buyers with KONUGOLU before the commencement of the e-auction . The registration process requires bidders to complete the required online registration and pay a registration fee of Rs 1,180, including GST .
After registration, bidders can log in using their valid User ID and Password, access the Running Auctions List , select the relevant auction and click on the Participate button before proceeding to the auction bidding page.
The auction will follow an 8-minute automatic extension rule . If a valid bid is received within the final eight minutes, the closing time will be extended by eight minutes from the time of the last bid. This process will continue until there are no bids for eight consecutive minutes.
The materials will be sold on an "As Is Where Is" and "No Complaint" basis . Bidders are advised to inspect the materials and satisfy themselves regarding their quality, quantity, age and condition before participating in the auction.
Bidding must be carried out separately for each lot , and the bid value will be the basic price of the material, excluding applicable taxes, duties and other levies.
The highest bid will receive the first preference. In case two or more bidders quote the same price, preference will be given to the bidder who placed the bid earlier.
Although the auction details state that EMD is not applicable at the auction stage , successful bidders whose lots are accepted on a Subject to Approval basis must pay a post-bid EMD/SD equivalent to 10% of the sale value within seven calendar days from the auction closing date, as specified in the detailed terms and conditions.
The successful bidder must pay the full sale value along with applicable taxes and duties within 20 calendar days from the date of issue of the acceptance or sale confirmation letter.
TTD staff members are not eligible to participate in the e-auction. The material list displayed before the live auction is tentative and may be changed by TTD. Therefore, bidders are advised to download and verify the material list and special terms and conditions available at the time of the live auction before placing their bids.
The auction will be conducted through the KONUGOLU e-auction platform , and bidders are responsible for arranging their own computer and internet facilities. TTD will not provide computer terminals for participating bidders.

Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams will conduct an e-auction of clothes and textile items offered by devotees at the Tirumala Srivari Temple and other affiliated temples from May 21 to June 2, 2026 .
According to TTD officials, a total of 505 lots will be auctioned through the online process. The auction includes new, used and partially damaged cloth materials received as offerings from devotees at temples managed by TTD.
The auction inventory includes a wide range of textile products such as sarees, shawls, lungis, bed sheets, towels, dress materials, blankets, carpets, curtains, umbrellas and other cloth items . Officials said the lots also contain polyester, nylon and cotton sarees, blouse pieces, cloth bits, Turkish towels, pillow covers, Punjabi dress materials and ceremonial fabric items.

According to the notification issued by the temple body, each lot consists of 60 sarees , and the upset prices range between ₹8,100 and ₹9,800 . The auction has been categorised as an open forward auction , allowing bidders to participate without any Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).
The auction is being conducted under Auction ID 25886 and reference number TTD-34021/23/2025-AUCTION SEC-TTD I/4786031 .
Officials said the inspection of saree lots commenced on May 8 and will continue till 5 p.m. on May 20 . The e-auction process will begin at 10 a.m. on May 21 and conclude at 1 p.m. An 8-minute auto-extension facility has also been enabled to avoid last-minute bidding disruptions.
The notification stated that the auction includes various lots of new P/N/N sarees , with individual upset prices fixed separately for each lot. Among the listed lots, the highest upset price has been fixed at ₹9,800 , while the lowest stands at ₹8,100 .
TTD clarified that bidders are not required to upload documents while participating in the auction. The service charge for successful bidders has been fixed at 0.5% .
Temple authorities said the auction is expected to draw participation from textile traders, bulk saree buyers and resellers from different parts of the State and neighbouring regions.

TTD to Hold Online Auction of Cloth Items from March 2 to 9
Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced an online auction of cloth items offered by devotees at the Tirumala Srivari Temple and its affiliated temples. The e-auction will be conducted from March 2 to March 9, 2026.
According to officials, a total of 287 lots will be put up for bidding. The items include art silk sarees, silk sarees, half sarees, and ordinary sarees. The lots comprise new, used, and partially damaged cloth materials collected as offerings.
The auction will be conducted through the Andhra Pradesh government’s e-procurement platform under EA ID numbers 25597 to 25602 and 25604 to 25609. Only bidders registered on the official e-procurement portal will be eligible to participate.
TTD authorities said interested participants can obtain further details by contacting the General Manager (Auctions) or Assistant Executive Officer (Auctions) at TTD, Hare Krishna Marg, Tirupati.

The auction—bearing ID 25356 and reference number TTD-34021/13/2025-AUCTION SEC-TTD —will be conducted on November 21, 2025 , between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM , in an open forward auction format.
The e-auction will feature 30 lots of new Art Silk Sarees , with each lot comprising 20 sarees . Upset prices range between ₹10,100 and ₹10,900 per lot . The items fall under the procurement category Vasthrams and will be sold on a “Forward with No Ties” auction rule, with no EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) applicable. A nominal 0.5% service charge will apply to successful bids.
Prospective bidders can inspect the materials from November 7 to November 20, 2025 , between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM at the designated TTD facility. No documents are required to participate, as per the official notice.
According to TTD’s auction guidelines, each lot will be evaluated individually, and auto-bidding options will not be available. The auction will automatically extend by eight minutes if bids are placed during the final minute of the auction window.
