The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has announced an e-auction of 30 prime land parcels across Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limits and Pune Rural areas, marking a significant step towards planned urban development in the Pune Metropolitan Region.
The land parcels will be allotted on a long-term lease of 80 years through an online e-auction process.
Within the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area, the e-auction includes:
3 land parcels for educational use
9 land parcels for commercial and public utility use
1 land parcel for medical use
1 public utility land parcel for a Library/Music School
1 Facility Centre land parcel
In addition, the e-auction also includes:
14 Amenity Space land parcels located in Pune Rural areas
1 commercial land parcel at Bhamburda (Shivajinagar)
The land parcels will be allotted to eligible individuals and institutions through a transparent online bidding process. PMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase has appealed to eligible individuals and institutions to actively participate in the e-auction and contribute to the overall development of the Pune Metropolitan Region.

The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has announced the e-auction of 46 plots located within the limits of the erstwhile Pimpri-Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA). The properties will be leased for 80 years, with the bidding process set to begin at 11 a.m. on November 7 through the official portal eauction.gov.in and pmrda.gov.in.
According to PMRDA officials, the list of technically qualified bidders will be declared on November 6, a day before the auction begins. Interested participants can download registration and tender documents from the PMRDA websites between October 16 and October 30, 2025.
The auction covers a diverse mix of land parcels:
3 plots earmarked for educational institutions
11 plots reserved for commercial and public facilities
1 plot for medical use
1 plot for public amenities such as a library or music school
1 plot designated as a facility center
29 plots set aside for amenity spaces
PMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase encouraged interested citizens and organizations to complete the online registration and submission process well before the deadline.
“All eligible applicants are urged to complete their applications early to avoid last-minute technical issues. Detailed auction guidelines and terms are available online,” Dr. Mhase said.
The e-auction aims to boost planned development and infrastructure in the Pune Metropolitan Region while ensuring transparency through a digital bidding system.
