The Tathawade Phase-II project was originally announced with 792 flats in April 2026. The scheme comprised:
24 LIG flats
768 MIG flats
Total: 792 flats
According to MHADA, the scheme received 438 applications for 24 LIG flats and 304 applications for 768 MIG flats.
Following the earlier process, 135 successful applicants confirmed their acceptance , after which the Pune Board initiated the allotment process for 150 flats from the original 792-flat offering.
The latest computerised draw was therefore conducted for the remaining one LIG flat and 634 MIG flats.
A total of 483 applications were received for the latest lottery.
The MHADA Tathawade Phase-II project is positioned as more than just an affordable housing development, with several modern and environment-friendly facilities planned for residents.
Key amenities include:
One four-wheeler parking space for every flat
Swimming pool
Clubhouse
Indoor games area
Children's play area
Open gym
Grid-connected solar power system
Electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities
Rainwater harvesting
Dr Pankaj Bhoyar said the project reflects MHADA's efforts to provide facilities comparable with professionally developed residential projects.
Construction of commercial shops within the project is also underway, while planning for their future sale is being considered.
Pune Housing and Area Development Board Chairman Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil said the sale of remaining flats in MHADA projects at Mhalunge-Ingale and Tathawade is proposed to be conducted shortly through the First Come, First Served (FCFS) system.
The Pune Board is also planning additional housing projects in the region.

A housing project has been proposed on a four-acre plot within Shirur Municipal Council limits. In addition, construction of approximately 400 homes is underway on a 100-guntha plot at Kharabwadi Gram Panchayat near Chakan MIDC.
The upcoming projects are expected to add to the supply of affordable homes for residents.
The Pune Board also plans to undertake redevelopment of old MHADA layouts under its jurisdiction.
According to the board, these redevelopment projects could create a substantial stock of affordable housing units in the future.
The developments are part of MHADA's broader effort to increase the availability of reasonably priced housing in and around Pune.
MHADA Deputy Chief Executive Officer Anil Wankhade said the authority has conducted several record computerised svg lotteries for the sale of flats during the last two to three years.
A significant number of homes offered under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme have also been included in these lotteries.
Wankhade reiterated that MHADA's computerised lottery system is transparent and free from human intervention , with the objective of ensuring a fair allotment process for applicants.
Pune Board Chief Officer Rahul Sakore said the income eligibility condition for MIG flats under the Tathawade Phase-II scheme had been relaxed.
The change is significant for applicants seeking affordable housing under the MHADA Pune scheme, particularly those who previously fell outside the prescribed income criteria.
The MHADA Tathawade Phase-II lottery was live-streamed on MHADA's official YouTube channel, @mhadaofficial.
The live broadcast allowed applicants to watch the lottery proceedings remotely from their homes.
Officials present during the event included Executive Engineer Milind Atkale , Estate Manager Rupesh Jaibhaye, Ramchandra Bhosale and other MHADA officers and staff.
The Tathawade Phase-II svg lottery highlights MHADA Pune Board's continuing focus on expanding affordable housing options in the Pune metropolitan region.
