Jalgaon Vehicle Auction 2026: 39 Seized Tractors, Dumpers and Trucks to Be Auctioned on June 22; Upset Prices Reach ₹6.45 Lakh

In a major recovery drive against illegal mining activities, the Jalgaon Tehsil Administration in Maharashtra has announced a public auction of 39 vehicles seized for illegal transportation of minor minerals . The auction will be conducted through a sealed tender and highest-bid process, offering buyers an opportunity to purchase tractors, dumpers, trucks and pickup vehicles at government-approved prices.

The action follows penalty proceedings initiated against vehicle owners. Since several owners failed to deposit the imposed penalties, authorities have decided to auction the confiscated vehicles to recover government dues.

According to the official notification issued by the Tehsildar's Office, Jalgaon, the auction will be held on:

  • Venue: Tehsil Office, Jalgaon

Interested bidders must submit their applications along with the required deposit before 5:00 PM on June 19, 2026 .

The majority of tractors have upset prices ranging between ₹1.70 lakh and ₹2.80 lakh , depending on valuation and pending penalty amounts.

  • ₹5,000 per vehicle
  • Mandatory for participation

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Payment Rules for Successful Bidders

The highest bidder must:

  • Deposit 25% of the bid amount immediately
  • Pay the remaining amount within the prescribed period
  • Complete payment through Demand Draft, Cheque or NEFT
  • Cash payments will not be accepted

Failure to deposit the required amount within the stipulated period may result in forfeiture of the security deposit and cancellation of the bid.

  • Vehicles will be sold on an as-is-where-is basis .
  • Bidders must inspect vehicles before participating.
  • Each vehicle requires a separate application and deposit.
  • The Tehsildar reserves the right to postpone, modify or cancel the auction.
  • Owners who clear their penalties before the auction date will have their vehicles removed from the auction list.
  • Banks and financial institutions claiming ownership or loan interests must submit objections with supporting documents before the specified deadline.
