Hyderabad: The Telangana Transport Department has announced a major public auction of 183 seized vehicles across Hyderabad. The vehicles were seized by transport enforcement authorities and are currently held at the Khairatabad RTA Office, Nagole Driving Testing Track Office and various RTC depots.
According to the official notification issued by the Joint Transport Commissioner, Hyderabad, vehicle owners whose vehicles have been seized have been given a final opportunity to clear pending dues, penalties and other liabilities. Owners must approach the concerned transport office with all relevant vehicle documents and settle outstanding amounts within seven days of the publication of the notice.
Authorities stated that if the dues are not cleared within the stipulated period, the vehicles will be sold through a public auction under the provisions of the Revenue Recovery Act, and the proceeds will be credited to the government treasury against outstanding liabilities.
