Gorakhpur: In a major push to industrial and residential expansion in eastern Uttar Pradesh, the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) has launched an allotment drive offering 239 plots and 96 residential flats across multiple sectors in Gorakhpur. The scheme covers industrial, residential, commercial and institutional categories, presenting what officials describe as a “golden opportunity” for investors, entrepreneurs and homebuyers. Online registration for the scheme begins on February 21, 2026, and will continue till March 24, 2026.
According to the official notification, interviews for industrial plots will be conducted on April 1, 2026 (11 am onwards) at the GIDA office, while commercial and institutional plot applications will be processed via e-auction on the same day between 10 am and 6 pm. The e-lottery for residential plots and flats is scheduled for April 6, 2026 at 11 am. The development initiative has been launched under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta.

Under the Sector-11 Residential Scheme (RERA Registration No. UPRERAPRJ281199/09/2024), plots are available in five size categories:
