GDA Announces Multi-Purpose Plot Auction in Popular Housing Schemes — Registration Open Till January 20

In a major start to the new year, the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has announced the auction of multi-purpose plots across its highly popular residential and commercial schemes. The authority is offering a golden opportunity to own prime residential, commercial, group housing, hotel, school and institutional plots across key locations in the city.

Online applications have already begun and will remain open from January 12 to January 20, 2026 through the official GDA website.

  • Auction Date: January 23, 2026

  • Venue: Hindi Bhavan, Lohia Nagar, Ghaziabad

  • Time: From 11:00 AM onward

According to GDA officials, plots from multiple categories — including residential, commercial, group housing, hotel, shop, nursing home, convention centre, high school and dispensary plots — will be put under the hammer. In addition, ready-built commercial units available under license deed will also be auctioned.

Key details for bidders

  • Online registration available from January 12 to January 20 at www.gdaghaziabad.in

  • Application fee: ₹1,000 + 18% GST

  • EMD:

    • ₹50,000 for plots above 100 sq. m.

    • ₹25,000 for plots up to 100 sq. m.

GDA has also announced that regular auctions will continue every Friday from February 2026 onwards (excluding holidays) at Hindi Bhavan, Lohia Nagar.

The initiative is expected to boost real estate activity in Ghaziabad, offering investors, homebuyers and institutions a rare chance to secure prime locations across established and emerging urban pockets.

Officials said: the auction aligns with the authority’s focus on organized urban development and expanding infrastructure-backed residential and commercial spaces across the district.
