Ghaziabad:
The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) will conduct an auction of residential, commercial, group housing and mixed land-use plots across several prime schemes on January 8, 2026, officials said.
According to the auction list released by GDA, a total of 88 plots from major schemes including Madhuban Bapudham, Indirapuram, and Indirapuram Extension will be offered to buyers through the bidding process. The auction includes large group housing parcels, commercial plots, mixed land-use sites, convenient shopping complexes and residential plots.
In the Madhuban Bapudham Pocket–A scheme, GDA has put up multiple group housing plots with areas ranging from about 2,382 sq m to over 9,000 sq m. The reserve price for these plots has been fixed at ₹52,500 per sq m, with individual plot values running into several hundred crore rupees. The scheme also features commercial and mixed land-use plots priced at ₹70,000 per sq m.
The Indirapuram Nyay Khand-1 area will see the auction of several commercial plots, mostly sized between 135 sq m and 174 sq m, with reserve prices ranging from ₹1.7 lakh to ₹1.8 lakh per sq m. These plots are located in well-developed sectors with high commercial potential, officials said.
In addition, Indirapuram Extension will witness the auction of a large number of residential plots, mainly measuring 310 sq m to over 420 sq m, with a reserve rate of ₹2.04 lakh per sq m. A few large commercial plots in the extension area have also been listed, carrying a higher reserve price of ₹4.08 lakh per sq m.
The auction list further includes kiosk plots, shop plots, hotel land and convenient shopping sites, aimed at strengthening commercial infrastructure in the developing sectors.
Officials said the move is part of GDA’s strategy to monetise land assets and generate revenue for ongoing and future infrastructure projects. Interested bidders have been advised to carefully review plot details, reserve prices and security deposit requirements before participating.
