The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has removed 525 abandoned vehicles that were left on city roads, causing inconvenience to the public and obstructing traffic movement. These vehicles have now been shifted to Corporation premises.
According to GCC, the list of vehicles has been published on the official website www.chennaicorporation.gov.in. The owners have been given 15 days’ time to reclaim their vehicles by contacting the respective Division Assistant Engineer, Zonal Officials, or local Police Station.
