The Chengalpattu District Police has announced an open public auction of 85 unclaimed seized vehicles involved in various criminal cases. The auction will take place on July 9, 2026 , providing an opportunity for individuals to purchase two-wheelers and four-wheelers through a transparent public bidding process.
The auction has been organized for vehicles that have remained unclaimed after legal proceedings. Interested buyers can inspect the vehicles before participating in the auction and complete the required registration formalities by depositing the prescribed earnest money.
According to the official notification, the public auction will be held on July 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the vehicle parking area behind the Chengalpattu Integrated Court Complex .
A total of 85 seized vehicles , including motorcycles, scooters, cars and other four-wheelers , will be offered for sale. These vehicles were seized in connection with different criminal cases and remained unclaimed.
