Bengaluru Police to auction seized two-wheelers from Re 1 on March 16; inspection from March 10

The Bengaluru City Police will conduct an e-auction of seized two-wheelers through MSTC Limited, offering bikes and scooters with a starting price of just Re 1. The auction will be organised by the ACP Jayanagar Sub Division in Bengaluru.

According to the detailed auction catalogue, the online bidding will take place on March 16, 2026, from 11 am to 3 pm, with an auto-extension of 8 minutes if bids are placed near the closing time. Interested bidders can inspect the vehicles between March 10 and March 14, 2026 at Jayanagar Police Station.

Vehicles available in the auction

A total of seven two-wheelers will be sold in separate lots on an “as is where is”, “as is what is”, and “no complaint” basis. Some of the vehicles included in the auction are:

  • Suzuki Access (KA-05-HS-2349)

  • Honda Dio (No number)

  • KTM Duke (KA-17-EP-4061)

  • Honda Dio (KA-01-EM-6029)

  • Yamaha ZR (KA-01-EU-4182)

  • Yamaha FZ (No number)

  • Bajaj Pulsar (KA-02-EW-9234)

Each vehicle will be auctioned individually with a minimum bid increment of Re 1.

Payment and EMD rules

Successful bidders will be required to deposit a post-bid Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of 25% of the final bid amount. The EMD must be paid within five days of acceptance of the lot, while the remaining payment must be completed within 12 days.

If payment is delayed, a penalty of 1% per week plus GST will be applied.

Delivery timeline

Buyers must collect the purchased vehicles within 30 days from the issue of the delivery order. Delays in lifting the vehicles will attract ground rent at 1% per week plus GST.

GST and bidding conditions

The auction will operate under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) of GST, meaning bidders must have a valid GST registration number to participate and will be responsible for depositing applicable taxes.

Officials said bidders should physically inspect the vehicles before placing bids, as no complaints regarding condition or quantity will be entertained after bidding.
