The Excise Department, Nawada (Bihar) has announced a short-term auction of seized vehicles, including cars, bikes, scooters, and scrap bicycles. The auction will take place on 17th & 18th September 2025 at the Collectorate, Nawada, starting from 11:00 AM.
Last date to apply: 15th September 2025 (till 4:00 PM)
Required documents: Application form, Aadhaar, PAN, character certificate, and demand draft of earnest money deposit (EMD) in favor of Superintendent of Excise, Nawada (payable at SBI Nawada)
EMD: Varies by vehicle (see table below)
Payment terms:
At least 25% of bid amount to be paid immediately after auction
Remaining amount within 2 working days via OGRAS portal
Note: Vehicles will be sold on “as is, where is” basis. Registration/transfer of documents will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Extra Charges: 3% service charge on the final bid amount.
