The West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (WBHIDCO), a Government of West Bengal undertaking, has announced an e-auction for the allotment of a 5-acre land parcel at Nonadanga, Kolkata. The auction is scheduled to take place on October 16, 2025, through the Government’s e-auction portal.
The site comprises 20,234 sq. m. (5 acres) of freehold land located at Mouza Nonadanga, JL No. 10, Chowbhagha, under KMC Ward No. 108. The land can be utilized for residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects, offering significant development potential in the eastern part of Kolkata.
The plots included under this land parcel are numbered 539(P), 542, 544(P), 547(P), 548(P), 549(P), 555(P), 556, 557, 558, 559(P), 560(P), 561(P), and 562(P).
Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): ₹3.98 Crore
Starting Bid Price: ₹198.85 Crore
Minimum Bid Increment: ₹10 Lakh
The successful bidder will need to deposit 25% of the bid amount within 30 days of receiving the allotment letter, and the balance 75% within 90 days.
WBHIDCO has mandated that construction work must commence within one year of possession (extendable up to two years) and be completed within five years. The project must comply with the Building Rules of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) and the Land Use Development and Control Plan (LUDCP).

Participants are required to register on the NIC e-auction portal (https://eauction.gov.in) and obtain a Class II/III Digital Signature Certificate to submit digitally signed bids.
