The Varanasi Development Authority (VDA) has announced the sale of a large number of vacant flats located in its older residential buildings through an online auction process. These flats are being offered at comparatively affordable prices, ranging from ₹9 lakh to ₹68 lakh, providing a significant opportunity for homebuyers in the city.
According to the information released, the registration process is currently underway, and interested applicants have a limited time to apply. The flats are being sold strictly through online e-auction, and buyers are required to deposit 25% of the property value to participate.

Koniya (near Namo Ghat)
Pandeypur
Lalpur

Lalpur (Landmark Tower):
3 BHK flats available at approximately ₹59 lakh.
Lalpur Phase-II:
Flats measuring 22, 24, and 26 square metres, priced between ₹13 lakh and ₹25 lakh.
Badi Gaibi:

No objections or claims will be entertained after the auction is completed.
Corner flats will attract an additional 10% corner charge.
For leasehold properties, an extra 10% of the land value will be charged as prepaid lease rent.
Each auction must have a minimum of two applicants to be valid.
After issuance of the allotment letter, the successful bidder must deposit 25% of the property value within one month.
Failure to deposit the amount within the stipulated time will result in automatic cancellation of the allotment.

Varanasi: The VDA-backed Lalpur Landmark Tower project has opened e-auction registrations for 11 residential units across Phase 2 and Phase 3, with the bidding window scheduled from December 5 to December 20, 2025. Interested buyers can register on the official portal eauction.vdavns.com.
According to officials, the available inventory includes 3BHK and 2BHK premium category flats ranging from 134 sq.m. to 167 sq.m. in Lalpur, one of Varanasi’s emerging residential zones.
Phase 2:
Units in blocks F4/3, F5/1, F6/1, F6/3, F7/1, F7/3 with areas between 159–167 sq.m (3BHK) have been listed at ₹78.75 lakh to ₹79.32 lakh.
The registration fee ranges from ₹7.85 lakh to ₹7.90 lakh.
Phase 3 (3BHK):
Flats A9/2, A9/4, B9/4 measuring 164 sq.m are priced at ₹90.19 lakh, carrying a registration fee of ₹9.03 lakh.
Phase 3 (2BHK):
Units A9/5 and B9/5, measuring 134 sq.m, are listed at ₹72.89 lakh, with a registration fee of ₹7.30 lakh.
