The Tumakuru City Corporation (TCC) has announced an e-auction for 48 vacant commercial shops across key locations in the city, including the IDSMT Shiragate, K.R. Market complexes, and the Private Bus Stand commercial complex. The auction, which will be conducted through an e-procurement portal, is set to lease these properties for a period of 12 years.
This e-auction follows two previous rounds held on 18 September 2024 and 10 February 2025, in which some shops remained unsold. The current auction includes 43 shops from the Shiragate and K.R. Market complexes and 5 shops from the private bus stand complex.

Shops are designated for general, SC, ST, and differently-abled reservations, as per government norms.
Bidders must adhere to a minimum bid requirement equal to or above the listed monthly rent, and a security deposit must be submitted for each shop individually.
Shops will be allocated to the highest bidder after verification of all documents and payment.
Additional guidelines include lease registration, compliance with municipal rules, and restrictions on prohibited items, with environmental and public safety compliance mandatory.
Additional Notes:
Rent will be increased by 10% every three years.
Utilities such as electricity charges are to be borne by the tenant.
In case of early termination, a percentage of the deposit may be forfeited depending on the period of tenancy.
The TCC reserves the right to make structural changes or remove encroachments as necessary, and bidders must comply with all e-auction and municipal rules.
