Inspection Information
Interested bidders are allowed to inspect the vehicles in advance at the Police Lines, Tarn Taran before participating in the auction.
Terms & Conditions
The auction will be conducted as per the rules and regulations prescribed by Punjab Police authorities. All participants must comply with the official conditions of bidding.
Auction Rules & Conditions
Below are the officially prescribed rules for bidders:
- Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of ₹10,000 must be submitted before participating in the auction.
- Deposit Deadline:
The security deposit will be accepted only until 10:30 AM on the auction day. No deposits will be accepted after this time.
- Initial Payment (25%):
The successful bidder must immediately deposit 25% (1/4th) of the bid amount on the spot.
- Balance Payment (75%):
The remaining 75% of the bid amount must be paid within 7 days of the auction.
- GST Charges:
An additional 18% GST will be applicable on the final bid amount.
- Receipt & Handover:
Vehicles will be handed over only after full payment along with GST is deposited and a valid receipt is issued.
- Penalty for Non-Payment:
If the successful bidder fails to deposit the remaining amount within 7 days (by 29 June 2026), the ₹10,000 security deposit and 25% initial payment will be forfeited.
- Auction Cancellation Clause:
If full payment (including GST) is not made on time, the auction may be canceled and the deposited amount forfeited.
- Participation Cost:
All bidders must participate at their own expense. No TA/DA will be provided.
- Vehicle Lifting:
After full payment, the bidder must remove the vehicle within 3 days at their own cost.
- Scrap Condition:
All vehicles are sold strictly as SCRAP ONLY and are not eligible for road use or re-registration.
- Date Extension Rights:
The committee reserves the right to extend the auction date due to administrative reasons.
- Final Authority:
The committee has full authority to accept/reject any or all bids and make changes to conditions or the vehicle list if required.
