Shree Siddhivinayak Temple Trust to Hold Gold Auction on Dussehra


The Shree Siddhivinayak Ganpati Temple Trust, Prabhadevi, has announced a public auction of gold ornaments on the occasion of Dussehra, the concluding day of the Navratri festival.

The auction will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, inside the temple premises. All ornaments offered by devotees at the feet of Lord Ganesh will be displayed in the temple premises on the same day before the auction.

Items to be auctioned include:

• Gold Ganesh idols

• Lockets and pendants

• Replicas of modaks (traditional sweet)

• Finger rings

• Gold chains, necklaces, and other ornaments

Veena Patil, Executive Officer of the Temple Trust, stated that the auction will be conducted strictly as per government rules. The Trust has also clarified that it reserves all rights regarding the auction of gold ornaments and the sale of silver coins.

The management committee has appealed to devotees of Shree Siddhivinayak to participate in the auction in mumbai large numbers.
