1. Initial Notification (Letter No. 164/General Branch, dated 19.05.2025)

  • The Superintendent of Police, Arwal, requested the District Information & Science Officer, Arwal togeneral notice regarding the public auction of unclaimed/abandoned vehicles kept in different police station premises of the district.

  • The purpose: The uploaded link will also be used for publishing in local/state newspapers.

  • Attachments with the initial notice:

    1. Police Station–wise vehicle list (with base price).
      Note: Only partial list uploaded; remaining to be uploaded in phases due to large number of vehicles.

  • Reference: Earlier letter no. 164/General Branch dated 19.05.2025.

  • Reason: Some oparti.

  • Request made to NIC to upload the revised block dates on the portal and provide the link, so it can be published in newspapers.

4. Auction Procedure & Rules

  1. Venue & Time

    • Auction will be conducted at Collectorate Hall / NIC Building / Superintendent of Police Office Hall (all lo

    • Timing: 11:00 AM – 05:00 PM.

    • Vehicles will be sold on “as is, where is” condition.

    • If auction cannot be conducted on scheduled date, the vehicle will be shifted to the next block date.

  3. Application & Documents Required

    • Prescribed application form.

    • Self-attested copies of Aadhaa & PA.

    • One recent passport-size color photograph.

  6. Bidding Rules

    • Minimum incremental increase over previous bid:

      • Up to ₹10,000 → ₹200

      • ₹10,001 – ₹20,000 → ₹400

      • ₹20,001 – ₹50,000 → ₹500

      • ₹50,001 – ₹1,00,000 → ₹2,000

      • ₹1,00,001 – ₹2,00,000 → ₹3,000

      • Above ₹2,00,000 → ₹5,000

  7. Other Important Terms

    • Only highest bidder will be awarded; if first fails to pay, second-highest may be considered.

    • Successful bidder must pay balance amount in one installment; otherwise, EMD forfeited.

    • Vehicles to be collected at buyer’s own expense within 7–10 days of payment.

    • Vehicles older than 15 years or without valid chassis/engine numbers will be sold as scrap only.

    • Buyers must verify chassis/engine/registration numbers themselves.

    • The Committee’s decision will be final and binding.

    • Government staff/committee members cannot participate.

    • Pre-bid meeting scheduled on 25.05.2025.

    • Any disputes fall under local court jurisdiction (Arwal).

  8. Publication & Transparency

    • Detailed vehicle list, conditions, forms, and updates will be uploaded on district website arwal.nic.in.

    • Bidders should regularly check for changes (base prices, amendments, etc.).
