RMC Announces E-Auction of 7 Prime Plots Across Rajkot

Rajkot Municipal Corporation to e-auction 7 plots via e-auction in January

Rajkot: The Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) has announced the e-auction of seven prime plots — five commercial and two residential — across key localities of the city. The online auction will be conducted through the nProcure portal in January 2026, civic officials said.

As per the notification issued by RMC, registration for bidders along with payment of the earnest money deposit (EMD) and tender fee will be open from December 19, 2025, to January 9, 2026, till 4 pm. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled on December 30, 2025, at 11 am at Dr Ambedkar Bhavan, Rajkot, to clarify queries raised by prospective bidders.

The plots are located in prominent areas such as Raiya, Nanamava, Mavdi, central Rajkot and Railnagar. The commercial plots range in size from 1,648 sq m to 5,305 sq m, while the largest residential plot measures 14,507 sq m. Upset prices for commercial plots range between Rs 90,000 and Rs 2 lakh per sq m, while residential plots have an upset price starting at Rs 45,000 per sq m.

The e-auction will be conducted on January 17 and January 19, 2026, with each plot assigned a specific time slot. Four commercial plots will be auctioned on January 17, while the remaining commercial plot and two residential plots will go under the hammer on January 19.

Officials said the non-refundable tender fee is fixed at Rs 10,000 per bid, and bidders must submit separate bids with individual EMDs for each plot. All bids must be submitted online through the nProcure platform.

Detailed information regarding plot locations, auction schedules and bidding procedures is available on the RMC website and the nProcure e-auction portal. Queries related to the auction must be submitted to the town planning department by December 28, 2025. RMC has clarified that any amendments or updates to the auction process will be announced only on its official website.
