Rajasthan Police to Re-Auction 67 Seized Vehicles in Churu on Feb 10

Churu:
The Rajasthan Police will conduct a re-auction of 67 seized vehicles on February 10, 2026, at 10 am, at the office of the Superintendent of Police, Churu, officials said.

The vehicles, confiscated under various legal provisions and lying unclaimed for long periods, will be auctioned on an As Is Where Is” basis, meaning buyers will have to accept the vehicles in their present condition without any guarantees.

Important Conditions for Bidders

  • Participants must submit identity proof and security deposit as prescribed.

  • The successful bidder must deposit one-fourth (25%) of the bid amount immediately and the remaining amount within the stipulated period.

  • The vehicles will not be transferred or delivered until full payment is made.

  • All taxes, registration and transfer formalities shall be borne by the buyer.

  • The police will not be responsible for the roadworthiness or legal clearances beyond auction formalities.

Bhilwara Police to Auction Over 70 Vehicles Seized Under NDPS Act on Jan 27–28

Bhilwara:
The Bhilwara district police will auction more than 70 vehicles seized in cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, on January 27 and 28, 2026, officials said.

The auction will be conducted in accordance with the Union Ministry of Finance (Revenue Department) notification dated December 23, 2022, and the Standard Operating Procedure issued by the Rajasthan Director General of Police.

The vehicles, confiscated in various NDPS cases across police stations in Bhilwara district, will be sold through open public bidding on an “As Is Where Is” basis, after due legal formalities under Section 52A(2) of the NDPS Act.

    Vehicles from: Badliyas, Mandalgarh, Bijolia, Paroli, Mangrop, Sadar and Hamirgarh police stations

The auction will be conducted in the presence of authorised officers by a district-level committee.

Who Can Participate

Only GST-registered firms and individuals are eligible to participate in the auction. Bidders must produce their GST registration certificate at the time of bidding.

Security Deposit (EMD)

  • ₹15,000 per four-wheeler

  • ₹2,000 per two-wheeler
    To be deposited in cash or demand draft in favour of the Superintendent of Police, Bhilwara, before bidding begins.
