Rajasamand Police Department Vehicle Auction 2025 - Official Notice
The Office of the Superintendent of Police, Rajasamand (Rajasthan), has issued an official notification for the public auction of seized vehicles under Section 38 of the Police Act. A total of 33 vehicles seized at various police stations-Kelwara, Railmagra, Khamnor, Amet, Kelwa, and Delwara-will be auctioned.
The open auction will take place on Friday, 14 November 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Police Lines premises, Rajasamand, in the presence of the auction committee. All interested participants are invited to take part in this public bidding event.
The vehicle list and auction terms and conditions are available on the official department website and can also be viewed at the Office of the Superintendent of Police and the Police Lines, Rajasamand, on any working day.
Prospective bidders may inspect the vehicles at the Police Lines premises during office hours before the auction date.
Security Deposit: Each bidder must deposit ₹5,000 per vehicle as a security amount in cash before participating in the auction.
Identification: All bidders must present valid identification documents before the auction begins.
GST Payment: The successful bidder must pay the applicable GST separately as per government regulations.
Deposit Requirement: All firms or individuals participating in the auction must deposit a refundable earnest money amount of ₹5,000 per vehicle in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) or cash, payable to the Superintendent of Police, Rajasamand, before the auction starts. Any deposit received after that will not be accepted.
Document Submission: Bidders must provide valid identity proof and GST registration number before the bidding process.
Base Price: The auction will begin from the minimum reserve price set by the committee.
Advance Payment: The bidder with the highest successful bid must immediately deposit 25% of the bid amount on the spot.
Full Payment Timeline: The remaining 75% of the total bid amount must be paid within three (3) days of the auction. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of both the security deposit and the 25% advance amount.
Vehicle Delivery: Vehicles will be handed over only after the full payment is made. The transportation, taxes, and logistics for vehicle removal are the sole responsibility of the bidder.
Registration & Transfer: After the full payment, a Release Memo will be issued to the successful bidder, who must then complete all vehicle registration and transfer formalities with the relevant transport office at their own expense. The Police Department will not be liable for any subsequent issues related to vehicle ownership or registration.
Taxes & Fees: All government taxes, registration fees, GST, and VAT applicable on the sale of vehicles will be borne by the successful bidder in addition to the bid amount.
Vehicle Condition: The vehicles are sold as per Official Notifiction. Interested bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicles at the Police Lines, Rajasamand, before bidding. The department holds no responsibility for the vehicle's condition once sold.
Auction Rights: The Auction Committee and the Superintendent of Police, Rajasamand (Mahila Prakoshth) reserve the right to accept, reject, or cancel any bid or the entire auction process without providing any reason.
