Public Vehicle Auction in East Champaran District

The Office of the District Magistrate, East Champaran, has announced a public auction of 89 confiscated vehicles under the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016 (amended in 2018 and 2022). The auction will be conducted in three phases at the office of the Assistant Commissioner, Prohibition, Motihari.

• Phase 2: October 10, 2025 – 11:30 AM

• Phase 3: October 11, 2025 – 11:30 AM

Important Dates

• Last date for submitting applications: October 6, 2025 (till 5:00 PM)

• Last date for depositing auction amount: October 13, 2025

• Refund of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): From October 14, 2025

• E-Rickshaws: 3

Terms & Conditions (Highlights)

1. Bidders must submit applications with affidavit, ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN), and EMD (minimum 50% of reserve price) through bank draft.

2. Vehicles will be sold on “As Is, Where Is” basis.

3. Successful bidders will bear all applicable taxes and registration charges.

4. The auction committee reserves the right to cancel or modify the auction.

5. Vehicles under scrap category will be delivered only after cutting, at the buyer’s expense.

6. Government employees are not permitted to participate.
