Panvel RTO E-Auction 2026: 28 Seized Vehicles, Dates, Reserve Price and Registration Details

The Regional Transport Office (RTO), Panvel , has announced an e-auction of 28 vehicles seized for non-payment of motor vehicle tax and other applicable dues. The auction will be conducted online through the government e-auction portal, with bidding scheduled for September 28, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm .

The auction notice was issued by the Regional Transport Officer, Panvel , under the provisions applicable to vehicles detained or seized for outstanding motor vehicle tax and related offences.

The vehicles include three-wheelers, motor cabs, motorcycles/scooters, LGVs, a goods carrier and a minibus . The combined estimated/minimum valuation of the vehicles listed in the auction documents is Rs 4,23,500 .

Where to Register for Panvel RTO E-Auction

Interested bidders must register through the government e-auction portal at eauction.gov.in . Bidders are required to complete the necessary portal enrolment and have a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for the online registration process.

After completing online registration, bidders must submit the required documents offline for verification and approval.

Note: A few registration numbers in the scanned notice are OCR-distorted. Bidders should verify the exact registration numbers against the official auction catalogue before bidding.

 

Vehicle Reserve Prices

The auction document lists reserve/estimated values ranging from Rs 2,500 to Rs 90,000 , depending on the vehicle.

The highest individual value mentioned in the table is Rs 90,000 for the goods carrier bearing registration number MH46AD3496 . A motor cab is listed at Rs 35,000 , while another motor cab carries a reserve value of Rs 25,000 .

Several three-wheelers have reserve values of Rs 2,500 , while motorcycles and scooters are listed at values of around Rs 15,000 in the auction schedule.

The total estimated/minimum valuation stated in the notice is Rs 4,23,500 .

Panvel RTO E-Auction EMD and Fees

Participants are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 50,000 through a Demand Draft in favour of R.T.O. PANVEL , payable at the SBI Main Branch, Panvel, as specified in the notice.

An auction fee of Rs 200 per vehicle is also applicable to participating bidders.

The Demand Draft and supporting documents must be submitted on September 18, 2026, between 9:45 am and 10:15 am for participation approval.

Documents Required for Panvel Vehicle Auction

Bidders are required to submit the documents prescribed in the Auction Terms and Conditions. These include:

  • PAN Card
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Required identity and address documents
  • Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for online registration
  • GST registration certificate, where applicable
  • Company registration certificate, where applicable
  • Other documents specified in the official auction catalogue
  • Demand Draft towards the Rs 50,000 EMD

For firms or companies, the relevant registration and authorisation documents must also be provided.

Where Can the Vehicles Be Inspected?

The seized vehicles will be available for inspection at the locations specified by the Panvel RTO.

One inspection location is Anna Parking, Steel Market, Khidukpada Gaon, Panvel taluka, Raigad district.

Another set of vehicles is available for inspection at the pre-relocation office premises of the Regional Transport Officer, Panvel, Steel Market, Kalamboli.

The inspection is scheduled for September 15, 2026 , during the time slots mentioned in the official schedule.

Basic Applicant Details Required

  • Applicant Name, Address, Mobile Number, and Email ID

  • Registration Fee D.D.: ₹5,600 (D.D. Number, Date, Bank Name, Branch Details)

  • Security Deposit (Earnest Money) D.D.: ₹50,000 (D.D. Number, Date, Bank Name, Branch Details)

Required Documents to Scan and Upload Online

  1. Fully filled and signed registration form.

  2. Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Passport.

  3. PAN Card / Driving License or government-issued photo ID.

  4. Demand Draft of ₹50,000 for the security deposit.

  5. Registration Certificate and Authorization/Appointment Letter for the participating individual (if registering as a firm/company).

Important Notes (टीप)

  1. All scanned copies of the above documents along with the Demand Drafts must be uploaded to the official website during online registration.

  2. After completing online registration, original copies along with the Demand Drafts must be physically submitted to the office within the schedule specified in the terms and conditions.

Declarations & Signatures

  • Applicant Declaration: A statement agreeing to all terms and conditions of the public auction and requesting participation.

  • Refund Acknowledgment: Signature line confirming the return of the D.D. in case of an unsuccessful bid.

Panvel RTO E-Auction Payment Rules

The successful bidder will have to pay 25% of the total bid amount within three days of being declared the successful bidder.

The remaining 75% of the bid amount must be paid within seven days from the date of the e-auction.

Failure to pay the required 25% within the prescribed three-day period may result in the EMD being forfeited to the government and cancellation of the bid.

If the balance 75% is not paid within the stipulated period, the 25% amount already paid may also be forfeited as per the auction conditions.

Who Can Participate in the Auction?

Only bidders who complete the required online registration by the stipulated deadline, submit the EMD and documents within the prescribed time, and receive document verification and approval will be permitted to participate in the online bidding process.

The notice specifically states that only the person who submitted the Demand Draft can participate in the auction . Another person cannot participate in place of that bidder.

Deadline for Vehicle Owners to Clear Dues

The auction notice also provides an opportunity for vehicle owners, possessors and financiers to settle outstanding dues before the auction.

Vehicle owners can pay applicable vehicle tax, environment tax, government penalties and other outstanding amounts and seek release of the vehicles before the auction.

Anyone wishing to raise an objection to the proposed auction must submit a written objection by August 31, 2026 .

If no objection is submitted within the prescribed period, the RTO will proceed on the basis that there is no objection to the auction, subject to the applicable conditions.
