MP Housing Board Launches ‘Surmya Parisar-2’ Scheme in Bhopal; 142 Flats on Offer from ₹43.91 Lakh, Apply by March 25
BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board (MPHIDB) has launched a new residential scheme titled “Surmya Parisar-2” in Bhopal, offering affordable 2BHK and 3BHK apartments in the rapidly developing Ayodhya Extension area. The project is strategically located along a proposed 10-lane road and aims to provide modern housing with good connectivity and essential amenities.
According to officials, online registration for the flats has already started and interested buyers can apply until March 25, 2026.
Under the new housing scheme, the board is offering a total of 142 apartments in Surmya Parisar-2.
2BHK Flats: 119 units
3BHK Flats: 23 units
Starting Price: ₹43.91 lakh
Officials said the project is designed to cater to middle-income homebuyers looking for residential options in a well-connected part of the state capital.
The housing complex is being developed in Ayodhya Extension, one of the fastest-growing residential zones of Bhopal. The site is situated on a proposed 10-lane road, which is expected to improve connectivity to other major parts of the city.

If a buyer cancels the registration after the application is accepted, the registration amount will be forfeited as per board rules.
Apart from the flat price, GST and other applicable government taxes will be charged separately.
Buyers must pay 5% of the lease rent and building value as a corpus fund, which will be used for future maintenance of the residential complex.

Approximately 128 acres is located in Narela Shankari
Architects have already been appointed for all these schemes. Once approval is received from TNCP (Town and Country Planning), tenders will be issued and bookings will begin.
MP Housing Board is constructing 63 HIG duplex houses in Ayodhya Extension (Suramya Parisar Phase-3).
In Phase-1, 48 duplexes have already been completed
Phase-2 includes 250 flats, and booking is currently open
The estimated cost of Phase-3 is around ₹56 crore
Under one of the nine projects, MPHB will develop 160 new flats in Avadhpuri and Khajuri Kalan Phase-3.
In Phase-1, 145 plots have already been sold
Phase-2 includes 147 duplex and triplex houses, which are nearly complete
The total estimated investment for this phase is ₹67 crore
MP Housing Board is also developing a modern sports complex on nearly 17 acres of land in Ayodhya Nagar. Meanwhile, construction and booking activities are ongoing in Suramya Parisar, Lavkush Heights, and Khajuri Kalan Phase-2.
According to MP Housing Board, bookings for all projects are being carried out through the official MP Housing Board website and the MP Online portal.

Madhya Pradesh Housing Board to Sell Properties via E-Auction Instead of Lottery
The Madhya Pradesh Housing Board (MPHB) has announced a major change in the way its properties will be sold. Going forward, plots, houses, shops, and other properties will no longer be allotted through a lottery system. Instead, the Board is introducing an e-auction system, where properties will be awarded to the highest bidder.
Under this new system, property prices will not be fixed in advance. Prospective buyers will participate in online bidding, with the highest bid determining the sale. Initially, the e-auction system will be implemented for select properties in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur, with plans to expand to other locations in the future.
