Lucknow is set to witness a major transformation in its skyline as the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has approved the construction of the city’s tallest residential apartment complex. Named Narmada Apartment, the upcoming luxury housing project will be a 29-storey high-rise, surpassing the city’s current tallest 19-floor residential buildings.
According to official orders issued by LDA Vice Chairman Prathamesh Kumar, the project will be developed in Sector-4 of Gomti Nagar Extension, one of the city’s premium residential zones. The proposed apartment complex will be constructed adjacent to the Rapti Apartment near G20 Road.

Flats will be allotted through a lottery system.
After allotment, buyers will have to pay the total cost in 36 monthly instalments.
Buyers making full payment within 45 to 90 days will receive a discount of 4% to 6%, as per LDA norms.
As per LDA Chief Engineer Manvendra Singh, the construction of Narmada Apartment is expected to be completed within three years, while possession is likely to be handed over within five years.
Officials also revealed that an online demand survey was conducted prior to approving the project, indicating strong interest in luxury high-rise living in Lucknow.
Once completed, Narmada Apartment will become the tallest residential building in the city, marking a significant step towards modern urban development in the Uttar Pradesh capital.
