KIADB to Auction Ready-to-Move Houses, Residential Plots in Tumakuru from March 21

Tumakuru: The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) has announced an e-auction of ready-to-occupy houses and residential sites at the Vasanthanarasapura Industrial Area (3rd Phase) in Tumakuru District. The initiative offers homebuyers and investors an opportunity to acquire government-approved, encumbrance-free properties in a fast-developing industrial corridor.

According to officials, the housing layout is strategically located near the upcoming industrial township under the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC), ensuring strong future growth prospects. The project comes equipped with essential civic amenities and is positioned close to reputed educational institutions, enhancing its residential appeal.

The auction includes a total of 106 ready houses across categories—LIG (50 units), MIG (20 units), and HIG (36 units)—along with 94 residential plots comprising EWS, LIG, MIG, and HIG segments. Plot sizes range from compact units for economically weaker sections to larger plots designed for high-income buyers.

KIADB officials emphasized that all properties come with clear titles, litigation-free status, and access to 24/7 electricity and water supply, making them immediately suitable for occupation or development.

The registration process begins on March 4, 2026, and will remain open until March 18, 2026, while the live e-auction is scheduled for March 21 and 22, 2026 via the state’s e-procurement portal.

Interested bidders can participate online through the Karnataka Public Procurement Portal. KIADB’s Tumakuru Zonal Office is also facilitating assistance for applicants.

With Tumakuru emerging as a key industrial and residential hub in Karnataka, the auction is expected to attract strong participation from both end-users and real estate investors looking to capitalize on the region’s rapid infrastructure growth.


 





KIADB Announces E-Auction for 327 Housing Units & Sites at Vasanthanarasapura, Tumakuru

The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) has issued a latest e-auction notification offering a total of 327 residential houses and sites at the Vasanthanarasapura Industrial Area, 3rd Phase, in Tumakuru district. The online registration for bidding will begin on December 1, with the last date set for December 24, while the live e-auction will be conducted on December 26 and 27, 2025.

The notification covers 107 ready-to-occupy houses across LIG, MIG and HIG categories, and 220 residential plots ranging from EWS to HIG and odd-sized sites. The layout, developed on government-approved encumbrance-free land, is located close to the upcoming Tumakuru Industrial Township of the Chennai–Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC).

Officials said the layout features all civic amenities, 24/7 water and power supply, and a litigation-free title. Its proximity to educational institutions and industrial hubs makes it suitable for both end-users and investors.
