Karnataka Housing Board Vijayapura Housing Scheme 2026: Houses From Rs 18 Lakh

The Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) has invited fresh online applications for the allotment of available houses in various layouts across Vijayapura district . The housing scheme includes LIG, MIG and HIG houses , with prices starting from Rs 18 lakh .

Applicants can pay the applicable registration fee and initial deposit through e-payment and submit their applications online.

According to the public notice dated August 5, 2026 , applications can be submitted from August 11, 2026, to August 31, 2026 .

The scheme offers houses across several Vijayapura locations, including Mahalabagayat, Ittangihal, Kasaba, Muddebihal, Sindagi and Talikote .

The most affordable option listed in the notification is a LIG house at Talikote Phase 1 priced at Rs 18 lakh , while the highest listed price is Rs 32 lakh for HIG-I houses at Mahalabagayat .

How Will Houses Be Allotted?

The houses will be allotted through an e-lottery in accordance with the Karnataka Housing Board Allotment Rules, 1983.

The notice states that the houses in these layouts will be allotted through e-lottery without category-wise segregation .

The properties will also be allotted on an “as is where is” basis . Once a house is allotted, applicants will not be allowed to request an alternative house.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the eligibility conditions specified by the Karnataka Housing Board.

One important requirement is that the applicant must have been an ordinary resident of Karnataka for at least 10 years before applying.

Applicants must also submit a notarised affidavit confirming that neither they nor their spouse or minor children have received a flat, house or site from the Karnataka Housing Board or any other local body or authority.

The affidavit must be uploaded while submitting the online application.

Registration Fee and Initial Deposit

Applicants are required to pay both the registration fee and initial deposit through e-payment on the KHB website.

The registration fee varies according to the category:

  • LIG: Rs 500
  • MIG: Rs 1,000
  • HIG-I: Rs 1,500

The initial deposit ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000 , depending on the category and property.

The registration fee paid by applicants will not be refunded .

What Happens If the Allotment Is Cancelled?

If an allottee requests cancellation or fails to make the required payments within the stipulated period, the allotment can be cancelled.

In such cases, 25% of the initial deposit will be forfeited , according to the conditions mentioned in the notification.

Allotments will remain subject to the Karnataka Housing Board Allotment Rules and Regulations, 1983 .
