Karnataka Government Vehicle Auction 2026: 16 Tata Sumo SUVs to Be Sold Through MSTC E-Auction on June 24

EMD and Bidding Details

The auction has been designed to encourage wider participation.

  • Starting Bid Price: Re 1 per vehicle
  • Bid Increment: Re 1
  • Pre-Bid EMD: ₹5,000 per lot
  • Post Bid EMD: 25% of accepted bid value
  • GST: Applicable as per prevailing rules
  • TCS: Nil

Bidders must deposit the pre-bid EMD through the MSTC payment system before participating in the auction.

Payment Timeline for Successful Bidders

After winning a bid, participants must follow the payment schedule prescribed in the auction catalogue.

  • Post-Bid EMD Payment: Within 5 days of acceptance
  • Full Balance Payment: Within 12 days of acceptance
  • Late Payment Charges: 1% per week plus applicable GST
  • Delivery Period: Within 30 days from issue of Delivery Order
  • Ground Rent for Delay: 1% per week plus GST

Interested buyers are strongly advised to physically inspect the vehicles during the inspection period. Once a bid is submitted, no complaint regarding the vehicle's condition, quality or fitness for use will be entertained.

Where Are the Vehicles Located?

The auction is being conducted by the office of the Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Vigilance), Bengaluru , located near National Village Games, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Successful bidders will have to make vehicle payments directly to the Commercial Taxes Department through the Khajane-2 Government Treasury Payment Gateway , while MSTC service charges must be paid separately to MSTC.
