The District Administration of Kallakurichi has announced a public auction of 11 vehicles seized under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, for illegal transport of essential goods. The vehicles, confiscated across multiple cases in the district, will be auctioned at the District Supply and Crime Investigation Office, Tiruchi Main Road, Gandhinagar, Villupuram – 605602, on 26th September 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Deputy District Collector and District Revenue Officer finalized penalty amounts for the seized vehicles. As the original owners failed to pay the fines, the vehicles are now being offered for public auction.

Participation Fee: ₹10,000 per bidder
Payment: Full payment must be made immediately in cash once the auction is confirmed

Interested bidders can inspect the vehicles by contacting the Police Assistant Officer, Kallakurichi District Supply & Crime Investigation Unit at 8940696129. Only registered bidders will receive auction tokens.
Tokens will be issued between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM on the auction day.
Full payment for auctioned vehicles must be made immediately after confirmation.
All participants are urged to arrive on time and adhere to auction rules strictly.
