As part of the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor project, IITGNL will develop multi storey residential societies on four large group housing plots, bringing more than 10,000 flats to the market. The move aims to reduce long daily commutes for employees working in industrial units located within the township.

One of the key features of the project is its live work play concept, where workplaces, homes and marketplaces are developed within the same integrated township. This model is expected to improve quality of life by enabling residents to walk to work and access daily needs within the campus.

Industrial activity in IITGNL has been expanding rapidly, with more than 26 major companies already operational in the township. With the growing number of employees and officers working in the area, demand for nearby housing has risen sharply. In response, the authority has decided to roll out group housing plots for the first time.

Under the scheme, four group housing plots measuring between 34,573 square metres and 93,905 square metres will be allotted through e auction. Developers will construct residential societies with modern amenities on these plots. The township already offers world class infrastructure including power supply, water, wide roads, drainage and other civic facilities.

The registration process for the scheme began on February 2 and will remain open till February 23. IITGNL officials said they expect strong interest from real estate developers and investors.

IITGNL chief executive officer Ravi Kumar NG said the scheme will provide housing within the township for employees working in industrial units. He added that the project will help develop IITGNL into a fully integrated residential and industrial hub in the coming years, giving Greater Noida a new identity as a smart city and industrial centre.
